Thanks Tony, for your reply . It means a lot to me.
In the right half of the body , it is 3rd degree burn but elsewhere it is 1st degree or 2nd degree.
Doctors are saying that swelling is reducing from the face and other parts of the body.
She was caught in the fire inside the house and could get out.

I really appreciate the initiative you have taken. It gives a lot of courage to others.
Please pray with me for my aunt.

I am very sorry to hear about your family members burn.
One of the best doctors in US is Grossman burn center. This is where I got treated. They are very professional and nice too.
As far a precautions,......I am not qualified to give medical advise, but I can tell you that if she is responding to you and drinking
coconut juice, that is awesome but in the mean time I can tell you that with 90% burns, she must be in a very critical condition and I dont even know how she is not in an induced comma. In my case, I was put into an induced comma for 3 months. She must be in a tremendous
amount of pain. Are her burns superficial like 1st degree or deeper? How was she burned?

I think everyone's case is different but I can tell you that I sweat even more now than before, and I have full thickness grafts over 95% of my body.
Hope this helps

My brother was caught on fire by a powerline and has 3rd degree burns on 26% of his body. He is an active physical guy my question is will he be able to sweat again in the areas that were full thickness burns?

As horrific as your injuries were, I would assume in a bizarre way, this accident has changed your life for the better?! Such a great story, to come back from that and be able to get on with your life is such a wonderful thing to hear! I'm so pleased for you and your family!

I'm not a religious person, but nature was sure looking out for! Obviously you had to endure that horrible time, but to come out the other side in such good shape, considering how bad that was, is just an amazing story!

Good luck with the website and may life bring you much happiness! :)

Hi Jessica. You're most welcome. We have been working very hard for building and growing this website exactly for this reason. We want burn survivors and even other survivors of tragedies to feel comfortable and feel like they are loved and welcome. By sharing our stories, we can become a hope in someone’s life and isn’t that just an awesome thing to do? Together, we can make the impossible become possible. Tony

Dear Shika
This is a very serious injury and by loosing most of the bodies protection chances of survival are up to God.
Neither I nor anyone can tell you an answer to this question. All I can say is to pray and hope for the best.
We will do the same for him also. Please keep in touch.

You give hope!
Message: Hey man I just wanted to say that you give hope more than you may know! I just found out that that a good friend of mine's husband just had an accident at work...he is right around the same age as you were when you had your accident ( maybe a year or two younger)...fell into a vat of liquid that was over 300 degrees and has 90% of his body covered in 3rd degree burns. He is currently in a coma but I believe I heard that he may have just started breathing on his own. He married his high school sweetheart and they have 1 son. I just wanted to say that you have proven that it is possible to not only survive such an event...rather that you can come out and start living life again. Thank you for your inspiration brother!
